New Beer: From Uinta Brewing
Posted January 3rd, 2012
The brewery has since moved into a larger, more sophisticated facility, and their production has expanded greatly. Additionally, since 2001 Uinta Brewing has been 100% wind-powered, becoming the first Utah company to reach this mark. In an effort to continue its commitment to using renewable resources, Uinta Brewing installed solar-electric paneling on the brewery’s roof in 2011.
The Co-op now carries three varieties of Uinta Brewing’s beers: Hop Notch IPA, Dubhe Imperial Black IPA, and their Anniversary Barley Wine. In celebration of these new arrivals, all three beers will be on sale for $7.99, regularly priced at $8.99, through February 02, 2012!
And now, a little bit about each beer, courtesy of Uinta Brewing themselves:

Story
During an impromptu taste-test with ACG staff, the Dubhe Imperial Black IPA was an overwhelming favorite out of the three. Notes of coffee were tasted, and it had a very smooth start, with a hoppy finish. Overall a nice IPA.
