“After seven wonderful years of bringing fresh food to the residents of North Portland, the volunteers who poured their time and energy into the Interstate Farmer’s Market decided to bring the market to an end. Your support of our local farmers and food producers was always appreciated and they enjoyed the opportunity to serve such loyal customers.
- WHEN: Fridays, 3-7pm, June 1 through September 28
- WHERE: In the heart of Kenton district in North Portland on N. McClellan Street at Denver Avenue. Map it
- WHAT: Up to 35 vendor stalls filled with fresh, peak-of-season produce, proteins, baked goods and other artisan food products in a festive, street-fair atmosphere, complete with musical entertainment.
This is a really great opportunity for the residents of North Portland to get access to fresh produce and other foods. It can feel like a bit of a food desert up there, so one can guess that this will be a welcome summer addition to the neighborhood!
